About the Park
With the rivers Colne and Misbourne flowing through the park and the Grand Union Canal close by, water is a key feature of this attractive park. It is a fantastic place to get out and explore the surrounding countryside, with walks to the picturesque Denham Village and out through the wider Colne Valley. For families the adventure playground and paddling beach adjacent to the café are a must.

You’ll find public toilets in the visitor centre next to the car park, including disabled and baby changing facilities.
Denham Country Park is home to the Colne Valley Regional Park visitor centre run by Groundwork South. Located right next to the main car park, you can find out more about Denham Country Park, the Colne Valley and pick up leaflets for local walks.
The Café in the Visitor Centre is run by Groundwork South and serves a range of hot and cold meals with indoor and outdoor seating. The Eco hub next to the play area serves drinks and ice cream.
There are spaces available for blue badge holders in the main car park. The café and veranda are accessible for wheelchairs and there is a short circular walk on flat but unsurfaced ground through accessible gates that takes in the banks of the Colne and Misbourne meadow.
Denham Adventure Zone is opposite the main car park.
Two pay and display car parks located on either side of Denham Court Drive. A full breakdown of charges can be found on our parking page.
Denham Adventure Zone includes a sandpit, adventure trail, tube slide, treehouse, toddler swing and multi-play frame.
Denham Country Park is the gateway to the wider Colne Valley and links to local footpaths, bridleways and the South Bucks Long Distance Route. A short walk through the park will lead you to the towpath along the Grand Union Canal. A short circular walk takes you out along the banks of the Colne and back to the visitor centre via Misbourne meadow. Pick up walking leaflets and maps in the visitor centre.
Bring your own bike and cycle through the park to join the Colne Valley trail at the Grand Union Canal.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in all of our Parks; we do ask that dogs are kept under control & that waste is picked up and disposed of considerately. Clear signage is displayed throughout all the Parks regarding dogs on leads areas and dog free areas.
