Bucks Country Parks parking charges apply all year round. You can pay and display at a machine on site, use RingGo or buy an annual permit online. All pay and display machines take both coins and card payment and do not give change. Motorcycles and blue badge holders park for free at all 3 parks. Please be aware height barriers are currently in place at some of our car park entrances.

Pay and display parking faq's:

1. Why do you charge for parking?

Parking income is vital to fund the Country Parks. Maintenance of paths and play areas, development of new facilities, tree safety works and conservation projects are just some of the work car parking income contributes to.

2. How can I pay for parking?

Our on-site machines take both cash and card payments. You can also use RingGo to pay for parking - look out for location codes on site. Annual permits can be bought online.

3. Why are you putting up charges?

In light of the significant financial pressures being experienced by the Council, car park charges are being increased by 7% in line with the recommendations of a corporate review of fees and charges.

4. I pay council tax, why should I pay to park to use a council run park?

Provision of the Country Parks is not a statutory service and it is therefore necessary for funds to be raised within the parks to pay for their upkeep, maintenance and improvements.

5. Where does all the money go - we never see anything happening in the parks?

The income raised is spent on running the Country Parks, from the things the public can see, such as keeping toilets clean and functional, maintaining benches and sign boards, installing new play equipment to those that are done in the background, such as tree health surveys, purchasing/repairing equipment used for mowing, dealing with general enquiries and emergencies in the parks.

6. Is there a charge for blue badge holders?

There is no charge for blue badge holders providing they display their badge correctly.
