Commercial activity in the parks

We have regular filming taking place in Black Park. During these times, certain areas may have restricted access and there may be vehicles entering or exiting the park.

To help plan your visit and minimise any disruption, review the upcoming filming schedule below.

Date: 16 February 2026

A medium sized film unit will be filming in Black Park from Sunday 22 until Thursday 26 February. The filming will involve smoke effects, an action vehicle, special effect fake fires and fake lampposts for two nights in the park.

For visitor safety, the footpath adjacent to the filming area will be shut from Sunday 22 to Wednesday 25 February as there will be equipment and cables along the path; a footpath diversion will be in place.

Please take extra care around the vehicle access routes on Monday 23 February. There will vehicles and equipment deliveries on these routes.
