Filming in the parks

We have regular filming taking place in Black Park. During filming, areas of the country parks may have restricted access and there may be vehicles entering or exiting the park.

To help plan your visit, you can view the upcoming filming schedule below.

Filming schedule

There will be a medium sized film unit coming to Black Park on Friday 5th after the park has closed to park it's Unit Base on the Gravel Plateau. The vehicles will then be held over the weekend with no vehicle movements.

The rest of the film unit will then arrive on Monday morning before the park opens to film on Hammer Drive/McLean's Ride Junction. Crew will park in the main car park. With minibuses using the route into the park via the overflow car park.

Filming will involve smoke effects at the filming location.

Visitors may be asked to wait a few moments whilst filming takes place in this area. We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

The film unit will then leave the park on Monday evening.
